Solar Energy has already won the hearts of those who invest and bet on the technology, and it does not stop there, because Brazil should have a leap in photovoltaic generation in the coming years.

According to the PDE (Ten-Year Energy Expansion Plan) conducted by the Ministry of Mines and Energy, in partnership with EPE (Energy Research Company), solar energy should grow, until 2029, about 500% in the country.

Photovoltaic solar energy on roofs, facades and small plots is also a strong driver of economic growth and one of the few sectors with strong generation of quality jobs in Brazil.

According to a study by ABSOLAR - Brazilian Association of Photovoltaic Solar Energy -, Brazil could see an increase of more than 672,000 new jobs in the microgeneration and distributed solar photovoltaic mini-generation segments by 2035.

POWER - In 2021, Brazil surpassed the historical mark of 10 gigawatts (GW) of solar photovoltaic source operating power, in large transport plants and in small and medium-sized systems installed on rooftops, facades and land, as reported by the Brazilian Association of Photovoltaic Solar Energy (Absolar).

PARANÁ - Data from Companhia Paranaense de Energia (Copel), meanwhile, show that photovoltaic systems were installed in more than 7.7 thousand consumption units throughout the state between January and October 2019. Throughout 2019, some 2,600 installations were made.
